The Aldridge Academies and Writhlington School wanted to make their mark on Global Entrepreneurship Week.  So we created an Edventure that would bring the four schools together through an epic nationwide competition.

Students become real entrepreneurs for the day as they take part in The GEW challenge, which takes them through a journey of identifying social challenges and developing solutions that underpin an entrepreneurial mind-set.  This day is a great introduction to what being an entrepreneur is all about.

Learning Objectives

• Students explore how projects can be developed to make real, positive social change
• Students apply this understanding by planning a project which will tackle a challenge of their choice
• Students develop their teamwork and creativity as they work to develop their project
